She first left direct sales behind when the company she was a rep for, Jerky Direct, went under. At that time, she was one of the largest distributors in the company.
Shortly thereafter, she decided to try her hand at starting her own direct sales company.

After experimenting as a company owner for just over a year, she converted it to a straight affiliate program.
