Index System Details:

Supplies Needed:

  • colored index cards
  • index card dividers
  • one or two index card filing boxes
  • duck tape

Card Identification:

  • Green – Lead, but not customer
  • Yellow – Customer or Party Guest
  • Pink – Hostess
  • Orange – Potential Consultant
  • White – New Team Member

Follow Up Schedule:

  • Send former hostesses, as well as guests who seemed interested in a party but did not commit to one, invitations to your twice annual Mystery Hostess Party. Ask for an RSVP, and follow up with a phone call a week later.
  • Send hostesses a card a few weeks prior to their party anniversary reminding them to date another show. Follow up with a phone call a week later.
  • If you have the information, send guests and hostesses birthday cards throughout the year, or holiday cards come December. And make sure you are sending monthly sales flyers (if your company produces them) to keep them aware of your products. If not, you can send them a catalog as the new one comes out.

Prior Hostess – Follow Up Schedule:

0-1 Year Since Last Party

  • Every Month: Monthly Sales Flyer
  • Twice a Year: Invitation to Bi-annual Mystery Hostess Party
  • Party Anniversary: Invitation to book another party

1-2 Years Since Last Party

  • Every Other Month: Monthly Sales Flyer
  • Twice a Year:  Invitation to Bi-annual Mystery Hostess Party
  • Party Anniversary: Invitation to book another party

2+ Years Since Last Party

  • Every 3-4 Months: Monthly Sales Flyer
  • Twice a Year:  Invitation to Bi-annual Mystery Hostess Party
  • Party Anniversary: Invitation to book another

Prior Guest, Customer, or Contact – Follow Up Schedule:

0-3 Months Since Last Purchase

  • Monthly: Monthly Sales Flyer
